Project Description
Once per month, a Sunday morning service is held outdoors (usually at Topanga State Park). All are welcome. The service is typically 90 minutes in length, including 30 minutes of wandering and wondering amidst the landscape.
Church of the Sacred Wild focuses upon eco-spirituality, the engaged reverence for and communion with the sacred nature of nature. Through conversation, sermon, song, journaling, and experiential contact with landscape, the service helps us awaken to the beauty of our natural resources and the spiritual renewal which comes from embracing a mindful relationship with them.
